“ Really happy we found this place. We wanted something quick and healthy for lunch, not sandwiches or whatever and 5 mins later saw Thai Smile. We were in there for probably 25 mins - super fast service, great quality food and very reasonable cost. 17.50 for a lunch meal with rice and a salad and spring rolls. On top of this, the guy serving us was lovely!! ”

“ What a great hidden gem! Love Thai cuisine and this place delivered a knockout punch. Authentic and not 'westernized' for the sensitive palate. Hot means HOT, not tingly, gives the kick you ask for. Had the Panang Curry with coconut rice, a lettuce wrap for starters and I am just delighted. Go, you won't be sorry. I did takeout and they separated the order so I could put it together at home. Will dine in soon to check out the highly rated service. Yummy!! ”
“ It's a lovely family restaurant near Coombs. If you are heading to Port Alberni, this little restaurant is a good stop for lunch. They offer lunch special too. We have early dinner. So we are the only customers on weekday. The food is good and not oily. I like the veggie spring roll, satay, green curry and pineapple fried rice but the coconut is too sweet. ”

The coconut rice tasted like a desert to me and the yellow curry was fantastic! A little on the spicy side for my wife who had a delicate tummy but for the normal people “mild” was perfect. The price was the most reasonable Ive seen in a long time so I was glad to tip on the higher side. Will be going back again for sure. ”
